You will receive a vehicle familiarisation tour and a run through of the inventory.
Driver must be between the ages of 30 and 75
Once you have paid for your booking, we will confirm by email, and will again be in touch once we need the deposit.
Check-in times are between 3 pm and 5 pm on the first day of hire. This may be slightly altered if your transport to Newquay does not coincide, please get in touch to arrange this before you commit to the booking.
Return times are between 9 am and 11 am on the last day of your hire. You will be subject to a £100 charge per hour you are late, as this will affect the next customers holiday. If you are going to be late, please get in touch as soon as possible so we can make suitable arrangements.
If you plan on driving to us, you can park your car free of charge on our private, secure premises.
If you are travelling by plane, we are located just a minutes drive from Cornwall Airport. We can collect you, or you can take a short walk to us.
If you are travelling by train or bus, we can arrange collection dependant on which station you will arrive at for a small charge. Please enquire for more information.
We also offer a delivery and collection service to a campsite or location of your choice. Prices start at £25 and will be dependant on the distance and or time taken. Delivery and Collection is limited to a 50 mile radius of our premises.
In the event of a cancellation the following applies:
Cancellations made more than 70 days before the rental period begins – 100% of the hire fee will be refunded, less the booking deposit and an admin fee of £25.
Cancellations between 43 and 70 days of start of the rental period – 50% of the hire fee will be refunded, less the booking deposit paid and an admin fee of £25.
Cancellations 42 days or less before the rental period commences – 100% of the total hire charges are forfeited even if a late booking has been made.
Booking dates can be changed up to 71 days before departure for an admin fee of £25.
If you are unable to hire your vehicle for any reason whatsoever we are under no obligation to transfer your booking to another date or refund you money other than as specified above. For this reason we strongly recommend you take out a travel insurance policy that would cover such eventualities.
In the unfortunate event that the campervan is damaged and undrivable or stolen before your hire commencement, a full refund of all monies paid will be given. We cannot accept responsibility for missed commitments/arrangements such as campsite bookings due to breakdown or theft and we cannot be held responsible for adverse weather conditions affecting any hire.
We understand that booking your holiday in these uncertain times can be worrying, so we have amended our cancellation policy for Covid related circumstances. If you have booked your camper van and your area or the pick up location goes into lockdown meaning non essential travel is not allowed then you have the option to change your dates to a later time to avoid the restrictions, or receive a full refund.
If you receive a positive Covid test less than two weeks prior to your hire start date, meaning you have to cancel, our standard cancellation policy applies. We recommend taking out travel insurance to cover you in this event.
Here at Cornish Cove Campers our four-legged family members are very important to us, so there was no question about whether our Campervan would be dog friendly. You will probably find that your dog loves their holiday just as much as you! We just ask that you do not leave your dog unattended in the van for any reason. A small charge applies for post-hire cleaning and we include a bed, towel and bowls, so you will have less to pack.
